We met up with Shawna and Cody and a few of their family and friends at the Sand Dunes! What a great day! I have never been there and I thought it was going to be way different than I imagined. It was so cool...rolling hills of sand! It reminded me of snowmobiling, but on sand instead of snow! And it is always so much fun to hang out with Shawna and her family. Savannah had such a great time with Parker and Sariah. Parker gave her a ride on the back of his four wheeler. He has a kid-sized one. The boys even went for a little ride around camp! Ken loved it too. He was a daredevil though and making me nervous every time he went out! :) One time we went out, Sariah fell asleep on Shawna's lap and we had to go back early. It was funny! I couldn't believe she fell asleep like that! Shawna just got a new camper. It's really nice. They had deep fried turkey (YUM), mashed potatoes, corn, and rolls for dinner. It was delicious! Then we sat around the camp fire and visited until we had to go home. I had to work the next morning, which came too early! :) Anyway, it was a blast and I hope we get to go back soon! I'm so grateful for such fun friends and family to spend time with!

Savannah's laugh!
Today, Savannah wanted something and I said "no" and then she would say "yes". We went back and forth like this for a minute, and then she messed up and said "no" instead of "yes" and she started laughing! She was laughing so hard she could hardly talk anymore! She is so funny! She loves to laugh and to make other people laugh! Right now, she is taunting me with.... "Mom, come scare me and eat my belly!" And yesterday, she wanted to play hide and seek with me. When I would say, "where is Savannah???" She would hide in the closet and then yell from within, "I'm in here!" She sure can make me smile!

This is Ken on his hunt in Arizona with his buddy Jason. He was so excited to get a javelina with his bow! The first thing he has killed with it! He was also hunting mule deer and cuze deer. He shot at a mule deer, but missed. He was trying to make a 95 yard shot! They had fun shooting coyotes and bobcats in the afternoons when it got hot. He said he had a blast and maybe next year, I could go too. I think I will focus on killing a deer though. Im not that into shooting pigs! :) He should be home today sometime. He is hanging around in Vegas a little longer... hoping to see Casey's baby!
